All of our aluminum screw binding posts feature one slotted side. For small binding bolts up to 3/8", the other side features a hole that allows the screw to bind tightly with the post, creating a more secure bind. For large screw posts, however, the other side is smooth, as the post is long enough to create a strong bind with the screw without needing that additional length provided by the hole.
